Alone in the corner
Looking for a shoulder to lean on
An ear to hear my teardrops
But no one cares about me
Alone in the midst of strangers
Passing me by on a busy street
Searching for someone who really matters
Someone to join me in my lonely journey
Alone in this world
A world that is full of numb
Still can't find a light
A light that will take me out of the dark
Alone in the dark
Dark that blocks my sight
But I can see them
Though they will not look at me
